Just below Ouzel Falls along the Saint Vrain, the sun shines through the canopy of trees illuminating the landscape. Ouzel Falls is running hard with the spring snowmelt well underway and the furey from the rushing water is being atomized through the pines. The cool moist air, the pungent smell of pine and the warmth of the early morning sun created what can only be described as a dream like quality this fine day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
