Tucked into the Kawuneeche Valley, Little Buckaroo Barn is a favorite location of mine to photograph. I've photographed Little Buckaroo at Sunrise and Sunset and the mood and lighting always feel different each time I've set out on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. This August morning, overnight showers disapated but the line of clouds over the Kawuneeche Valley lined up perfects over the top of Buckaroo as the first light of the day caused an explosion of color in the skies over Rocky. It was an amazing summer morning and some of the best light I've ever photographed at this barn. Photo © copyright by Thomas Mangan.
