A mid summer morning in the meadows of the East Inlet are always worth the short trek from Grand Lake. Moose, dear and bear are all common sights but even on morning when the wildlife is elsewhere, there is not more of an idyllic location on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park than the East Inlet. This morning, low hanging clouds hung over Mount Craig aka, 'Mount Baldy' while the east side of RMNP was clear. The sunrise illuminated the could over Baldy and created this beautiful glow as the diffused light bounced off the west face of Mount Craig. Photo © copyright by Thomas Mangan.
