Rocky Mountain National Park is looking stunning after a late April snowstorm coated the landscape with fresh snow. Here we see Longs Peak covered in fresh snow, split between two aspen trees in Upper Beaver Meadows. This view should be famillar to those who have hiked from the Beaver Meadows Trailhead as these two aspen trees greet hikers at the start. Sadly, the aspen tree on the left finally gave up the ghost and was uprooted and is now lying across the meadow floor. Photo © copyright by Thomas Mangan.
