There is a reason why they are called the Never Summer Mountains and this day in Rocky Mountain National Park they certainly lived up to their reputation. Mount Richthofen on the left and Static Peak on the right hand side are both coated in fresh snow. September is less than two weeks old but already we have snow on Trail Ridge Road and the Never Summer Range. What I love about photographing Rocky is you never really know what you are going to photograph and to this day I am often surprised by special mornings like this one.
