What an amazing morning this was in Moraine Park. This huge bull elk was stalking the south side of the meadow this morning. This bull wasn't looking add more female elk to his harem but was in fact challenging two other large bulls who were encroaching on his harem. To say this bull was fired up would be an understatement and his agitation and focus on moving these challengers away can clearly be seen in his face and eyes. Photo © copyright by Thomas Mangan.
