Typically you will find Pika in between the rocks and on scree slopes around timberline. When they are gathering food for their winter haystacks, they can also be found amongst the wildflowers and tundra grasses as well. You just need to be quick with your camera as they dont spend a lot of time out in the exposed areas before they scurry back to the rocks and boulders like this one out on the Ute Trail.
