Artists Dreams

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

When the infamous Earl of Dunraven was attempting to turn Estes Park into his own personal wild game preserve he hired famous Hudson River School painter Albert Bierstadt to come to Estes Park in 1877 to paint and scout out locations for his planned 'English Hotel'. Albert Bierstadt was tasked by the Earl of Dunraven to find a beautiful vantage point from which the Earl could build his hotel for his well to do guests. The eventual site chosen for the English Hotel was along Fish Creek near Lake Estes. Theodor Whyte, the Earl's assistant is credited with naming this lake after Albert Bierstadt whom he had guided through the area during the summer of 1877. On a beautiful and calm summer morning, nearly a century and a half from when Albert Bierstadt visited this lake, the sun rises over Rocky Mountain National Park creating a painterly like scene that artists enjoy as much today as Albert Bierstadt did before them. Fine Art Prints Available

I strive to produce the highest quality Fine Art Prints. My Fine Art Prints are produced on a Fuji Semi Gloss photographic paper. The image is first prepped and adjusted by the photographer to represent the most accurate representation of the image and my vision.

The image is then sent off to be printed using the latest technology. The photographic paper is exposed with either LED lights or lasers then developed in RA-4 chemistry. This is done on a Lighjet or Chromira printer. This process allows for some of the cleanest, most accurate, archival prints available today.
