The famous Cathedral Spires formation rises above Sky Pond on a clear and calm summer morning. World famous with rock climbers, the Cathedral Spires encompasses such famous rock climbing formations as the 'Sharkstooth' and the 'Petit Grepon'. Sky Pond is located high above Loch Vale in Rocky Mountain National Park. Its one of Rocky Mountain National Park's most scenic locations and I was very lucky to be able to capture a reflection of the Cathedral Spires in Sky Pond as the winds can be unforgiving at Sky Pond which is located just below 11,000 ft.
