It's easy to photograph Colorado or Rocky Mountain National Park in the fall and concentrate only the the State's Aspen Trees. Colorado has more of a diversity of fall color then most relize when visiting. Mountain Ash and Scrub Oak can yield beautiful fall color, but impressive displays of fall color can be found at the base of Aspen groves when the Ferns turn to yellow. You wont find these Ferns in every Aspen Grove, but in wetter areas such as Glacier Gorge, they can be found and photographed quite easily. Photo © copyright by Thomas Mangan.
