As is so often the case in Rocky Mountain National Park, seasons collide and compete. It's not uncommon to expierence multiple seasons and weather in Rocky Mountain National Park in a few short hours. On this day, a still unfrozen Boulder Brook meanders down through the rocks while an early Autumn snow covers the ground. The early snow caused the golden fall Aspen leaves to fall from the trees and coat the shores of the small creek.
