Far up the East Inlet and below Fifth Lake a group of Blue Columbines grow in a meadow which is filled with wildflowers every summer. One of my favorite wildflowers to photograph, finding nice clumps like these is a pleasure. These wildflowers move easily so its always tricky in Rocky Mountain National Park to find a group of Blue Columbines while at the same time having little to no wind to keep them still.
