This road sign located just above Rainbow Curve alerting travelers along Trail Ridge Road of possible icy conditions ahead. I would take a guess, looking at the sign that its pretty accurate. Snow and icy conditions did exisit on this early May morning in Rocky Mountain National Park. Just behind the sign, Ypsilon Peak and Mummy Mountain are coated in a late season covering of white.
